If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I love a cozy, pretty desktop — the kind that makes you actually want to sit down and get things done. So this year I created a full set of free 2026 desktop wallpapers with calendars built right in, and I’m giving the whole collection away for free.

About the 2026 Gingham Wallpaper Calendar Collection
Each wallpaper features a soft gingham check background in a seasonal color, with a sweet vintage-style calendar card centered right in the middle. The font is handwritten and charming, the palette is intentional (we go from Valentine pink to pumpkin orange to winter slate, because seasons), and the whole thing just looks really good on a desktop.
The colors shift with the seasons:
- January — icy blue {vibing that wintry energy}
- February — soft blush pink {so Valentine’s-coded, in the best way}
- March — fresh sage green {hello, spring 🌿}
- April — light sunny yellow {bright and uplifting}
- May — light tangerine {like citrus and sunshine showed up to the party early}
- June — sky blue {perfect for that early summer energy}
- July — bright berry red {picnic blanket, anyone?}
- August — warm blush beige {that cozy late-summer, linen-on-the-clothesline feeling}
- September — muted sage green {fall is coming and we’re easing in gracefully}
- October — warm amber orange {pumpkin season, obviously}
- November — soft terracotta peach {cozy and warm, like a sweater}
- December — cozy blue-grey {winter wonderland without being loud about it}
They’re designed for a standard desktop/laptop screen {widescreen ratio} – no cropping, no fuss, just save and set. ✨

How to Set Your Desktop Wallpaper
On a Mac: Right-click your desktop → Change Wallpaper → select your image, or go to System Settings → Wallpaper → add the folder.
On a PC: Right-click your desktop → Personalize → Background → browse to your downloaded image and set it.
